Just got a text saying the same

it's on sky sports news

Gutted.

Best finisher I've ever seen at Bowton.

How long 'til we see another true 'world class' centre forward at Bolton again then <_<

Cock sucker!

You can't blame him for going to a bigger club :D

Debatable

Ex-Leeds said he just walked past the ticket office with a bin bag (?) in his hand?

IMHO he is a c?nt of the highest order, he signed a new 4 year deal with us didn't he, why the f?k doesn't someone show some balls and tell these 'big' clubs to f?ck off, if we go down it will cost us a lot more than ?15 million, why couldn't we just keep him until the end of the season? F?ck him the garlic eating surrender monkey, I hope his balls drop off

The Elk has been good for us and we've been good for him. He's scored goals and we've made a healthy profit whilst he has got the big move he so badly wanted.

I've no problems with him leaving, but the vast bulk of the money we've got for him MUST be spent on new players. However i'm not sure just how likely that is.

Why would ex-leeds do that? Strange behaviour

That new contract meant we got the extra few million quid we wanted for him. We all know that contract really do mean fcuk all in todays footballing world. What would be the worth in keeping the Elk at the club when he's already announced to the club that he would like to move on.

Aye, no problems whatsoever with Anelka going to Chelsea.

And I'd say we should be spending AT LEAST the profit we've made on him. Not sure how much value we'll get for our money now clubs know we're flush, though.

Don't resent Nico in anyway. Cheers Nic and good luck

The money will go towards the debt...that debt that the board crated through sh?t management.

We'll always be a selling club.

I hope he snaps his f?cking leg ala David Busst, surrendering cheese monkey tw?t

and a good selling club at that

Tis a very good point enzo. I really do hope the club have got deals in place with players before giving the green light for the Elk deal. Otherwise the prices we thought we would be paying for player X will have shot right up.....

We'll always be a selling club.

I don't think there are too many clubs in the land that aren't selling clubs.....

Depends what you see as good.

I don't think selling your best bet of fighting off a relegation battle is 'good'.

But I suppose it's decent for the f?cking board, who all pick up a big salary for doing f?ck all & ignoring their own 'customers'.

Reet - I'm keepiong schtum now til we sign another f?cking J Lloyd Samuel <_<

Yup, but I reckon there was a bit of money in the pot anyway.

Has anyone considered that if Megson (is allowed to and) gets the strengthening of the squad right with this money then this sale could actually keep us up?

Jules

Looking on the brightside

Nearly 100% profit in 2 years, very nice. See you all in the Championship :good:
