You're the one who needs a reality check. We could have had Marlon King for a reasonable price, instead we got a striker who has already proved that he can't cut it at this level.

more or less everyone on here 3 weeks ago was stating we need a goal scorer or we are down...

 

Tuesday night was a classic example of that...

No my opinion is based on Marlon King's record at Watford when he missed most of the season and still managed more goals than Raziak who couldn't even get a game for Spurs.

Raziak and King played a similar number of games in the Prem but don't let the facts get in the way eh? King was injured for most of the season. Raziak wasn't good enough.

What the f**k are you talking about?! Raziak was playing for Southampton this season! I'm referring to the last time he played in the Prem for SPURS and the last time Marlon King played in the Prem for Watford!

Thing is - Spurs are generally quite good at picking out forwards. For them to take a punt on him - he must have had something. Now I've spoken to a few of my mates in Derby and they reckon - this guy can cut the mustard.

we have to play 9 top ten sides....4 away

 

we have 8 away games...(we have taken 2 pts away all season)

 

we have only scored more than 1 goal in a game 4 times in the league this season...

 

we have failed to score in 36% of our games...

 

we have conceeded more 2 or more goals in 45% of our games

 

I think the facts are there.

As for King failing his medical, I dunno if this is true but I understand he actually passed the club's standard medical but Fayed set his personal physician onto taking extra tests with him. He failed those, but it was seen as an acceptable risk

Depends on the quality of players around him how many he scores in the Prem.
