BOLTON WANDERERS will once again be offering official ticket and travel packages through its travel partner TMG for our UEFA Cup trip to Sporting Lisbon.

 

The tie is scheduled to take place on Thursday 13 March 2008, kick off 8:45pm (local time).

 

The Club will once again be providing day return packages and may consider overnight packages.

I am told by a reasonable authority that the winners are not in the next season unless they qualify via the normal routes. So, it seemns, we are not in Europe next season; again, Lisbon could be the last ever BW match in Europe, so I am morally obliged to attend.

1.06 Unless the UEFA Cup title-holder qualifies for the UEFA Champions League

through its domestic championship, it will be guaranteed a place in the first

round of the UEFA Cup. If the title-holder does qualify for the UEFA Cup

through its domestic competitions, the number of places to which its national

association is entitled in the UEFA Cup does not change. If the UEFA Cup

title-holder does not qualify for either the UEFA Champions League or UEFA

Cup through its domestic competitions, its participation in the UEFA Cup will

not be at the expense of the contingent of its association.
