I honestly believe we will score

Me too

Play 4-4-2 against them and they'll sh?t it

We will also concede.

Think this is the end of the UEFA road, make the most of it kids.

We scored 2 in Munich, so I still believe !!

Lets be honest, we aint going to win the UEFA Cup.

What better to bow out next week with a 0-0 draw, so having played 10 games in Europe this season without defeat.

=@

Then our record book will forever hold a European record of only one defeat in 18 games.

We will also concede.

The fact it is likely to be our last makes me want to go even more.

If you hear a big bank robbery in Wigan today, is anyone willing to provide an alibi?

And that story will excite the grandchildren in years to come.

Feck it, let's be a little more positive people. When we stuck it up them last night, they didn't like it at all. If we go with Davies & Helguson up front and play a couple of wide men who can actually cross a ball - we can cause them problems.

We are also well overdue a penalty kick in European competition and I think the law of averages suggests we'll get one next week - especially if we select our 2 best divers - Stelios & Diouf.

Let's not forget that Getafe went to Benfica last night and were leading 2-0 but still hung on for 2-1.

Anything is possible. Anything.

Sporting are struggling in 5th in their league and will no doubt want Champions League football next year - so I imagine they will want to start concentrating on their league form at some point very soon.

Scoring will not be a problem, but with a weaker team (No McCann next week either) I can see us conceding 2 or 3. Their defence is dodgy but they look a real handful going forward.

I'm rarely wrong (in my world) and I thought Madrid was my last outing.

Benfica did have a man sent off after 9 mins though.

Agree! Lisbon will next week! When the ref decides to see the error of his ways..... or his predecessors.

If we get knocked out

I'm not telling the Mrs then I can carry on going on my monthly jollies around Europe, then I'll tell her we've qualified again next season

Keep it tight, loose lips, etc
