Sam Interviewed On Dubai Tv

Rob MaCaffery just asked Alladyce why he left Bolton and quite revealing...if you believe it of course. Said he was no longer listened to by the powers at the club and thus felt not valued, the ambition of the club did not match his and most interestingly that Bolton simply did not want to be a fourth placed club and so refused him any money. Asked if he was sad to leave said yes because of the enormous affection for the club and also said he was prepared to sign a four year extension if he had got the backing he asked for.

He seemed genuinely pissed off about the whole episode to be honest......

Newcastle United were fooking stupid in sacking Sam Allardyce. Bolton Wanderers were either stupid in p1ssing him off to an extent he wanted to move on or unlucky that he arrived at the decision to move on (possibly hoping to enhance his England prospects). I am absolutely 100% confident that, had he stayed, we'd be on here moaning about just missing out on a UEFA Cup qualifying spot rather than the possibility of being relegated.

There are a lot of Sam haters on WWays. I am not one of them.

FSA lost it after the BBc revelations about him and his stupid greedy son.

FACT.

Iam still waiting a for a true account (s). Untill then i dont give a flying Shi*te about his favorite signings.

Another top post Bolty! In terms of entertainment his latter year tactics where boring for me personally but elevated bwfc into a position and status I believe I will never see again in my lifetime. Prior to that, players such as Okocha, Campo, Youri and others lit up the Premier in our second season. I am amazed by the number of posters who by and large are level headed, that cannot see past their bitterness at his leaving to give him due credit.

As for the money that was not forthcoming in Jan 2007 I really do think this was where it went wrong. Now if the board had given him the same as the have given the inept ginger this year, I for one believe we would be at least top half now and either in the FA cup semi or uefa QF.

Sam didn't sue em either.

Wonder why?

Wonder why?

He was just too busy dismantling BWFC.

The board didn't think Sam needed the money he asked for: things were going well.

They realised that Megson needed the money.

im not an allardyce hater

all i ask is why folk think that megson should be expected to turn around the slide allardyce couldn't halt

the previous two seasons we had also finished rather poorly....and then got ourselves flying high at the start of the next season

what makes you think he wouldnt of done it again?

because the away performances i saw post christmas last season were absolutely dreadful

heavy defeat after heavy defeat

overrun is an understatement

in the previous two seasons we got over 20 and over 30 points post christmas (from memory)

last season the highlight was beating fcuking doncaster

not to say you're not correct, i just think it was by far the worst, longest period of poor results taht we endured under allardyce

ok the away form went and i admit, so did Sam's appetite at bwfc after the cup exit. However this seasons fixture list threw out a dream opening. I am of the opinion that given the money last Jan he would have stayed on and we would have flown out of the traps again.

I would rather have him in charge of these last few crucial games than the ginger one.
