Nolan's the nearest thing we have to a 'regular' goalscorer. Maybe it's time to push him up front!

We were in a mess when Anelka was here, mostly under Mr Lee, but under Megson we were certainly a big threat playing at home with him in the team, other teams were scared of our quality. In previous seasons we've relied on Davies, Nolan, Diouf and Stelios to chip in but they have not been for one reason or another. Therefore we should be playing 4-4-2, but i've losted all hope in sea of negative tactics.

4-4-2 wouldn't really make much difference IMO. Davies would always pull out to the right wing, diouf to the left. The same problem of no strikers in the middle to put the ball in the net

But sell your most potent goal scoring threat, when you are struggling, and do not replace him, with a similar style player (obviously we could not expect the same quality), this is the player who scored most of your goals - we can only go one way !

Fatty Nolan, fatty Taylor and spitty Dioufy will score the goals.

Nolan has scored a few timely goals in the past, but so has Stelios. Stelios has proved that he can get into scoring positions but doesnt always get the oportunity. Surely now, desperate times call for desperate measures.
