YATESY Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I made a withdraw of my application when we got beat in Lisbon. ?55 a pop with no English sides left in to sell the tickets on to. Unless Rangers get to the final, I think you will struggle to sell even at face value.

I tend to agree with that, if Rangers or Bayern make it to the final, it will probably sell out with tickets going for a decent amount of money. If neither of them do, then it may well still sell out, but I don't think you'll be getting much more than face value for the tickets. For instance I doubt that St Petersburg/Getafe v Sporting/Fiorentina would be overly attractive, and generate the fortunes many are hoping for. Had either of the three English teams made it through, they would have been worth a fortune

trotter58 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I think you will struggle to sell even at face value. Why sell them at all? Anyone who's got tickets should go, you may never get another chance to see another European final.
no balls Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 Why sell them at all? Anyone who's got tickets should go, you may never get another chance to see another European final. There's one going to be played next year though, isnt there? Just saying like.

enzo gambaro Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 There's one going to be played next year though, isnt there?Just saying like. Aye, it's in Istanbul. There's a fair chance the 2010 Champions League Final will be at Wembley, though.
MOOSE36 Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 well worth going to as a spectacle,i'll be in attendance with little moose
no balls Posted March 27, 2008 Posted March 27, 2008 I didn't realise that they were playing it in Manchester every year. Argh, but you didn't say that. If folk want to go then they can get on a big bird, can't they?
