As i Imagined Really But Bergsson Over Youri Was A turn Up For The Books IMO!

As good as Youri was, Bergsson wasn't a household name when he signed for us and was BWFC through and through and still is. He put off retirement 2 or 3 times to help out the club and left on a high.

Djorkaeff was my favourite out of those - but in fairness Gudni (and those above Youri) played many more games for us.

Djorkaeff was only here for the blink of an eye so it came as no suprise to me that he came below Bergsson. Tony Kelly had more of an impact on Bolton Wanderers than Djokaeff did, but he only had 1 tenth of Youri's ability.

Not sure that's reet Andy. Nat is Bolton through and through. Served all them years as player, manager, president etc. Born and bred in Bolton - Castle Hill School - Castle pub - wifes hairdressers in Bromley Cross. John McGinlay was a fantastic player for Bolton Wanderers. Nat Lofthouse is Bolton Wanderers.

I voted for Lofthouse, never saw him play, but as another poster put it, he practically is this football club. Nobody is going to ever get close to the impact he had on this club.
