Stade Francais have been as famous for their outlandish kits as they have for their rugby prowess in recent years but their latest shirt really takes the biscuit.

 

The French powerhouse will wear their new third kit for the first time against Ulster in the Heineken Cup this weekend.

 

The shirt is a homage to the Pop Art style made famous by Andy Warhol and contains the image of Blanche de Castille, the wife of Louis VIII and mother of Louis IX.

Only needs a row of pegs with names across the top, with one tatty old Lidl bag housing a pair of manky pumps and a rotten apple core owned by the caliper kid with the special needs haircut and a nowty looking step dad, neither of whom have been seen for a month.

Good old Dave , he deserves to be in the Tate Modern. Last time I had a natter with him was in a boozer before the Yeovil League Cup game, The Arrow (below), just over 4 years ago now. Time flies....for those that remain.
