Cas, with the utmost respect, you and Zozzy are the kind of BWFC I love and wish we had more of. Always seeing the good, however miniscule it might be; always positive. Absolutely love it.

 

I am pretty much the same way but on the Megson issue, I just can't be. An unambitious and unimaginative appointment and I will never change that view. This excellent win will give Gartside the ammo he needs to give his man a reprieve. No one will be happier than me if the dose can be repeated on a regular basis and I end up with egg on my face as a piss poor judge of a Premier League manager.

 

I expect, however, that this won't be the case. For the record, if Megson could take the 'shame', I would keep him on as the assistant manager. I do actually like the bloke. Just can't cut the mustard as a motivator or an offensive tactician.
