Such things can happen when you throw the UEFA Cup by sending a weak squad to an away game.

obviously upset he's no longer the top english goalscorer in the prem any more

If you watch MotD regularly, you'll have noticed that Arsenal and Chelsea have both been booed off at home more than once this season.

It happens.

Highly paid professionals (players & managers) accept it and move on to the next match.

Booing off is like your annual appraisal expect they get it after every game.

Villa are doing exactly what we did two seasons ago. In February 07 we were battling for that 4th Champions League place but in the end only just scraped a Uefa Cup place.

look at eboue, he got LOADS of stick a few months back. he obvioulsy got his head down and with a bit of good man management has come back stronger.

Just looking at the table, we have won more home games this season than Villa

Villa will finish 6th, now they are finding out how much hard work, the business end of the season is.

 

Plus they have not had many big injuries to worry about.
