Maybe I could have just replied with a terse "Oh, that's OK then!"

 

My point was that BSA did the dirty on us, irrespective of the fact that things came good because of it.

 

What was the name of the farmer who shot the theiving gypsy bastards thus making the area in which he lived a much better place?

Give it a few decades and folk will be looking back on the BSA years as a golden era for BWFC. The painful split bitterness will all be forgotten and only the good things will be remembered.

 

As another said, he will always be a Bolton legend. I just don't see why the subject keeps being raised on here in any other context than remembering the glorious times.

My brother still loves Sam but hates Peter Reid for the way he left us, strange aint it :pardon:

Fat Sam is overrated and our success i believe was more to do with Gartside.
