3 Point Plan For Thefuture

Featured Replies

Firstly I should declare that I have been patient in my support for Mr Megson, and it is with a heavy heart and no little consideration that I make these declarations.

Here is my (selfish) 3 ( or 4) point plan for a more enjoyable season next year :

1. Burnley fail to get promoted

2. We lose at home to Hull. As a consequence Newcastl get relagated. We're already safe.

3. As a consequence of this disappointing run-in Mr Megson agrees to leave by mutual consent.

4. We appoint Owen Coyle as our manager. I always liked singing "one owen coyle", because literally there is. And I would like to see us play some decent football for a change. When was the last time we played well? Life's too short, we should go for it!

We now have a new challenge as a club for next season, and the anti Megson brigade are happy.

All those in favour say "I" ?

words fail me but carlos sums up what I think of you and your plan.

Firstly I want Burnley to go up and i think most bolton fans would want that too.

Secondly, anyone who would rather us lose a match, no matter how meaningless, so that someone else could benifit is an absolute w a n k e r of the highest order.

Fair points nb. Ive been in the fanzone and not heard any name booing, not to say it doesnt happen. Some players get bigger cheers, bit like when the team's announced in the ground. Every player seems to get his name cheered and it's rare to hear any boos at that stage. Always a bit strange that the subs are announced to almost silence.

Sorry i was there at the said occasion that s is on about and some knobs were booing,

it was aimed at McCann i think, just attention seeking tramps. It has happened more than once

I Worthy10, definitely I. Unfortunately we're saddled with a joke of a manager for a long time. I've got no idea why people defend so much on here, hence the nice response from Carlos to your great plan. The day he leaves i'll be out to celebrate with a big sirloin steak washed down with a fine lager.

because people call him a joke of a manager.

If he's a joke manager what does it make those below him?

Sirloin and lager. You know how to live, Deano!

Bitteballen or beefkrokette or Turkse Pizza anyday!!!!

Or even huitspot! :yahoo:

Of course with pepper sauce in a quality eatery. In fact i'd buy everyone a beer on here if our great leader departs before the end of 2009.

Pedantic of me I know - but it is actually 'Aye' when you are voting and not 'I'.

I refer you to post #27 in this thread which is aimed directly at people like you, we are just going round in circles. It doesn't surprise me you are in full agreement with someone who can't even count to 3. Aye.

Course I do - but I am not Amosc99 from BN, although I do know the person and seen him a couple of times - use different watering holes though - he uses "Sports Bar" and I use "Coco's Australian outback Bar" (oh yeah and proper photo is now on my profile! <_< )

Sorry for calling you gay - not funny!

Glad that other thread has been closed - I was getting fed up with winding everyone up.

At least I am now doing what I should have been doing from the start - trying to have a laugh and comment, sensibly, about my team

PS real name is not Sjoerd but it will stay a mystery for now! :pardon:

ps yes I did nick your name for the BN site - apologies :-)

Good crack round Rembrandtsplein, away from the tourists.

so you know the bar then?

its not too bad - just normally go there for the footy on a Saturday and Sunday.

I live just outside the city centre, so for any other drinks I normally stay local to my apartment

edit: just read the last bit - not quite away from tourists as there is a big percentage around there - especially for some of the bar-clubs, such as Rain Bar!

Agerntinos seem to be on every street corner nowadays!!!

Only place I can think of is somewhere near Albert Cuypstraat - plenty of pretentious and overpriced restaurants around there!

What you describe rind a bell but not too sure as to where though or name of though!!!

A damn might fine restaurant is actually on Albert Cuypstraat and is reasonably priced. Called Bazar - north african and med style food, gorgeous.

Another great restaurant is a greek restaurant very near centraal station - just behind the scary gothic church - again it is nicely priced
