In conclusion although SKD is not a player of obvious international quality he is one of very few English centre forwards to consistantly perform in the Premier League. On that basis he is well worth at least a place in the England squad.

 

The argument that you have to be of a certain standard to be in the squad is in fact flawed, you could be a world class player but be unfortunate to be born in a country that has even better players. To be in the squad you have be at any given in the top 4 or 5 qualified players in your position, it is hard to argue that at no stage has KD fulfilled this criteria therefore he should have been given a chance. KD should benefit ftom the lack of other english centre forwards and at least make an appearance in the squad.

What determines whether he is good enough is the competition in his position in the England squad and looking at that he is definatley worth a place in that squad.

Yup I agree but I also think that the defence would get far to much protection from the referee and he'd be penalised to often to be really effective unless we have an old-style official.

People say that but he did ok when we in UEFA, the foreign officials were quite fair iirc unlike some in the premiership who seem to go off what they read in the papers. I wouldnt mind finding out anyway, would be so proud to see him in that shirt
