1 - Most of the clowns goals have been against shite opposition

2 - How can you achieve a good goals per game ratio if you don't get a chance

3 - How does that explain the inclusion (when fit) of Darren Bent

 

All that still doesn't explain how, when facing opposition like last nights, the clown was 1 of the worst players on the pitch

Darren Bent playes as a last resort, we cant just pick all Target men. We don't have many Goalscorers, but when bet plays, he

Kevin Davies is not good enough to play international football.

 

However... He is better than Crouch and far better than Carlton fcuking Cole and he should therefore be currently in the England squad IMO.

 

I think it's a combination of age, past clubs and reputations for why he is not in the England squad, but I don't think the "he plays for Bolton" excuse can be used now Cahill has been called up.

England quality ? Even that's stretching a point. The commentators last night mentioned nearly all his goals are against the minnows of international football, he's no target man, so I've no idea what his role would be in the finals next summer (if he were picked).

All four of the afore mentioned are no where near internationl class in my opinion. Defoe and Rooney are Englands 2 best strikers sadly they're both midgets and the english style doesn't suit plaing 2 midgets.
