Figures have been released detailing Bolton's income from the current television deal.

 

Wanderers received ?35.5 million in total broadcast payments for the 2008-09 season. This shows an increase of ?3.5m on last year and ?10m more than the amount received two seasons ago.

 

While the club finished 13th in the Premier League, it took 14th place in the prize money table. This is due to relegated Newcastle earning more through additional televised games.

 

The income comes from four revenue streams with just under ?14 million distributed to each club.

 

Overseas television revenue is split evenly between the Premier League clubs netting Bolton another ?9.6 million.

 

The remaining revenue comes from merit money based on the club's position in the table and facility fees for appearing in live games.
