I am a complete airhead with anything technical so, I need the assistance of blokes on here to tell me what I should do/buy/have fitted on the phone front so I can use it in my vehicle without being stopped by the OB. I have a samsung phone & a VW car if that's relevant

Point 1 - Erm because anyone with one of those on will be shot come the revolution. Their crime? Looking like a cockend!

Point 2 - Yes, I am not so thick as to not be aware of the parrot systems, no offence like but I was expecting much better answers with more technical knowledge & where to have it fitted etc.

Brother uses a square inch of velcro attached to the centre of his steering wheel.

 

If you can afford another square inch for the back of your phone then even better.

Repaint your car & he can answer the phone or, install a feckin loud stereo & ignore the phone altogether.

Im hindsight, a used one with. I have a car now that I bought from new and at the time it was great, the 1st time I have ever had a 'brand new' car...

 

...won't do it again though

I had a parrot in my nissan, it was the dogs bollocks, I could even play tunes on my phone through it and it came out the car speakers

 

 

Unfortunately I havent got the name of the fellas that fitted it, big Bolton fans, but motor world on the bottom ofr halliwell road put me onto them

Parrot are meant to be the best as mentioned. Nothing else comes close apparently.

NB I've got a parrot car kit in my Mazda and its very good.

 

If you can't decide where to put the control box in the car then nip to Halfords and ask them to show you the options in your car. Until you have actually seen one on your dash you won't know the best location for things like access to it and line of sight.

 

Also if you do get one fitted either put it on a bracket or have it screwed to the dashboard as I have been glued it came loose when the car was parked up on a very hot day.

Type in bluetooth handsfree kit into google.

 

i have one that clips to your sunvisor, it's about the same size as a phone and justs connects to your bluetooth. Simples

 

PS they're about 20 quid ish!
