It's all about respect at the end of the day very very few people have respect for him as a football manager and never have more and more people are losing respect for him as a half decent bloke - he started with not much respect for the fans due to his reception, I guess he thought he could win them over with keeping us up and then building slowly that in itself cannot be criticised but it's the manner in which he does it which has meant the reception he's had and now he has zero respect for any supporters the board must act now it's killing the club.

 

As for a new man getting half a chance he would with out a doubt who ever he is I believe because for the vast majority of fans this will be as bad as they have felt being a BWFC or can remember feeling so the only way really is up - it's a tap in PR wise for the new guy come in and say "I'm here to improve results but also start to build the club back up" and say he's aware of their relationship with the other manager but believes the club has great support and wants to build a team for them

 

If results didnt go for the new man the players would get it "all megsons shit" if god forbid we went down he'd get a clean slate to re-build..............that in my view is absolute worst case best case is he comes in shakes the place up gets a decent squad playing football and we're back on the up - I mean even Gary megson managed that and he is very very average at best!

Yeah but that is part of defence in some situations. e.g. I seem to remember him giving the ball straight to them and giving em a chance quite early on when there was no real danger. So far he's doing this 1 or 2 times a game. I was cheered by some of his defending second half but I doubt he's gonna ever justify his price tag or my expectations. I came out very early to express my disappointment at Zat and it was very theraputic for me as I've given up on him already

 

We needed someone to play competently with Cahill and then to spend all other resources on creativity imo. Sadly our best defence is still last seasons back four of Steinsson, JLS, AOB and Gary Cahill. That would just about appear to me to be 'perfectly adequate'. We are less solid this term and that's a step back.

Well, we agree there

I am also of the opinion that the reaction this weekend and the post match comments mark a significant change in the mood of those who have previously put aside their opinions of Megson to get behind the team and support him. While I can partly understand Megson's reaction and to be honest he looks completely awkward in the interview and is desperate to move off topic and his comments are probably aimed at those dissenters and abusers who have let their vitriolic hatred cloud any support of the club. The reaction is misguided, inappropriate and the "not bothered" comment may possibly be his downfall. Its a deep wedge that may possibly be irreconcilable.

 

Like bolty has previously intimated, I hate to see the bedsheet brigade win and I have utter contempt for those who would rather see us lose to achieve their aims - we are better off without those sorts.
