No one in their right mind is going to touch this club now, you may as well get rid of the "supporters" as get rid of Megson. i've never been on the bandwagon of booing megson or slating him, but my word something has to change, and i do think its time for him to get his coat. not sure who we could attract to bring in, i cant see the board going for a foreign manager but maybe thats what our club needs

Unfortunately it is, the only way for a football club to be run nowadays is as a business, why do you think all the foreign investment has come into the game, to make money, Sky and any other channels that pay towards premier league football are not bothered whether you or I go to another game, fans are only there to provide a modicom of atmosphere, when the stewards allow it, to be relegated where fans can 'enjoy' lower league football again would kill BWFC. IMO

I agree 100% that match today was not football in a million years who can kick it further and throw it longer, I watched sheff utd last night and it was 10 times a better spectacle than what we have served up for a long long time.

I know... I cringed a bit when I wrote it... it's just I feel really upset when I think of all the great times some of us oldies have all had supporting a football team. The camaraderie, the civic pride, the cup matches that used to mean something! I hate to give in to this idea that it's all business and money making. I just don't feel like bending over and taking it up the backside tonight ... I still remember what it was like when relegation was a part of the game and not to be feared as losing your job or business!

 

Bolton have always had as many bad fans as any other team... but give em a goalscoring hero and a tricky winger who can dribble or two and we will cheer em all the way. F*ck the money!
