Basically forcing the parents to find a job, whether it be a shelf-stacker or checkout person, so that the children can be clothed and to pay other bills. Do you really think any Government want to continually fork out on spongers - its the best way - force them into working, just to live!

On the Sky v Free to air I firmly believe that the FA cup final, world cup, euros and olympics are deffo free to air as they attract a world wide audience and the pinnacle of sport should be FTA. (that said the FA cup final needs a shake up before no one wants it)

As for Frank's point. The only job that would be suitable for the long term malingerers would be the litter picking.

 

The other jobs you mention require either training, motivation or both so they are out.

 

I never dreamt things could get so out of hand. The entire Income Tax take is now insufficient to pay the welfare bill.

 

The solution will be nibbling cuts with sizeable stealth tax rises.

Frank the work you have suggested is typical of that done by people wo have been sentenced to Community Service Orders. A person on long time benefits has not committed any crime and deserve to retain their dignity even if on benefit.

Up to the current recession which is fucker for millions of good hardworking folk, there is no reason whatsoever why any man or woman should have been long term unemployed for the last 15 years. Look at the millions of migrants who found managed to find work.

 

Take out the disabled (proper genuine disabled, not folk who have smoked themselves into a new 15k "disibility" Nissan or have a "bad back" from sitting hunched over a bar stoll 40 hours a week), carers, and those in their twighlight years but spent 30 years in the factories, pits, or mills and have very little else to offer now since they shut. We need to look after these people.

 

But the rest of them have just been bone fucking idle layabouts who have taken as much out of society as the bagrat on CSO.

 

They're the first ones to piss and moan about foreigners "pinching their jobs" but since the day they left school were too lazy to get out of bed in the first place so fuck em, they can sweep shite out of the sewers for me.
