Trainer Stench

Featured Replies

Got a couple of decent pairs of trainers, that are physically in good nick...... but by god do they stink! Tried bleach and a few other household cleaning sundries - plus soaking them overnight in a bucket, etc. Yet they still honk.

Any suggestions?

Are they Nikes ?

try washing your feet! ;)

Don't wash them it'll not get rid of the bacteria & bleach will just damage them. Best thing is the old odour eaters or spray's I'm afraid.

I put mine in the washing machine, does the trick.

Unless your feet smell like old cheese, if that is the case burn them.

Next generation health clubs, now integrated into David Lloyds had something that was on Dragons den. It was about the same size as a small microwave, you paid 2 quid for 3 minutes worth of flashing lights, and at the end of it, some 'Nano silver' witchcraft happened and your trainers smell as fresh as new. Unbelieivably, it did work.

Silver is used in the Umbro training gear (not the cheap tat in Ashley's store). It does work. I'd go into the science behind it, but I'd bore myself as much as you gents.

Do your feet smell of vinegar?

Cum into your trainers, that should do it.

Put your toaster on a extension lead into the back garden, put bread in it until burnt to a crisp x 4 slices. Place your trainers in a bag with the contents of the burnt toast open in tin foil and squeeze the air out, knot the bag and leave for three days. The carbon will soak up the whiffs and your trainers will be like brand new :good:

Dont forget to butter the toast first. :good:
