June 24, 201015 yr Ron Atkinson was decent enough. Told it how he saw it. ITV don't seem to be using him as much now. The coverage in South Africa would have been better for having him there. I wonder what he would have said about the performance of the African sides. Bet it wouldn't have made the repeats. (Honourable exception to Ghana).
June 25, 201015 yr motson is rubbish I agree, I hate Motson with a passion. In nearly every match he commentates on, he will say at least twice "Let's hope that is/isn't an omen" and then refer back to a game from decades ago where something vaguely similar happened. He's obsessed with "omens"
