Wigan V Newcastle

Jan 2nd, 4pm kick off

got tickets and going in the away end with my Geordie mate who reckons big Newcastle following away on the p?ss are something else, told us bout Blackburn season before last, they took 7000, when outside the Fearnhead loads just starting butting and hitting police horses as they had no one else to have banter with!

should be messy - going to try get a few renditions of "Die Die Wigan Wigan Die" on the go

anyone ever done away end with a team other than BWFC before?

did WBA at Sheff U when at uni, that was a bit odd - done Wigan twice with a Notts County fan, Wigan tw?ts sang anti bwfc/lofthouse sh?t most of the game

Things you do for mates........

There was a game about 10 years ago - Stoke v Man City at the Britannia; last game of the season and they were both likely to be relgated (in fact they were both relegated)

I was living in Stoke at the time and so was Gumbo; we and a few others got a load of tickets for mates who were City fans in the Stoke end as the City end was sold out and they were only selling home end tickets to those with ST postcodes.

Anyway, we get tickets as close to the away end as possible.

We stood out a mile to the Stokies, but there was a good few of us so we were alreet.

That is until a load of the City lads with us decided to leg it into the City end leaving a few of us behind.

Despite a few threats etc, we were actually ok

Until we left the ground and walked past the City end...it was fenced off with coaches etc on the other side and the City fans started chucking stuff and Gumbo was hit by a flying bottle

Another case of what you get for helping mates out...

Ive done aways with Bolton and Man City.

Infact, ive been to Blackburn away, with Everton, Man City, and Bolton.

AS come with me to Ewood, when Everton went about 7 years ago.......he was on his seat singing "And if, you know, your history....."

:yahoo:

me and my mate had to drive ti blackburn last year to run an errand, on are way back we went in a pub and there was a load of chelsea fans, one guy said we've got 2 spare tickets if you fancy sitting in the chelsea end. so we went to chelsea vs blackburn in the cup 3-3 AET and the dingles won on pens, top game

I thought it was "er niv yer no yeristeree!"

Hull V Preston about three or four years ago.

Was in corporate hospitality, had no interest in the game whatsoever, but the ale was free.

Spent most of the match ordering beer from the bar.

Can't even remember who won
