See any sharks?

See any sharks?

I've never seen any at Sharm, thankfully

There were a few interesting callers on Jezzer Vine at lunch today from diving instructors. Apparently they're being fed carcasses by passing ships & even divers themelves making the sharks come to shallower waters.

Basically, there was very sympathy as many are entering the water without proper training. There was more sympathy for the sharks who it appears are being killed willy nilly in a Jaws stylee.

What about Sheep?

The diving expert said that he believed the killer shark - thought to be another whitetip - had also carried out the previous attacks.

He suggested that the shark may have been drawn to the coast by dead sheep which had been left in the water.

"I have no idea why this shark is behaving so aggresively," he continued.

See any sharks?

no but in the diving excursions leaflet it said, "trips subject to reschedules in even of shark sightings".

Was there last week in September with the maude and a mate of Big E's and his wife, went snorkeling in Ras Mohammed National Park and was told not to worry about sharks as they wont come close to the reefs incase they cut themselves. It has now come to light that the guy was talking shit!It will kill the tourism there, which means i should get my next holiday there next year even cheaper,so you know every cloud and all that!

I go twice a year and it won't put me off.

They don't call it Shark's Bay for fuck all you know.

I would never go swimming in water, if I knew there was a slight chance of sharks being close. I've been bitten by a crab, wouldn't like to feel what a shark bite is like.

I don't know, but you can get cream for them.

Saw plenty of frozen sheep in Wales today. Good job they have a fleece for warmth.

A sensible answer Linford, no, but Didle's special you see.

if it stops this alias's faux naive pissfroth getting posted then yes

Good to see the word pissfroth getting a mention. Cheers, Satan.

Now we need monring to get more of an airing - ooh err missus

At this time of year there are more sheep carcasses than normal in the Red Sea due to Hajj just having taken place in Saudi Arabia. Inevitably large numbers die on the voyage from Australia or wherever. Shipowners are permitted to dump carcasses overboard (if they can't incinerate) so long as they have the correct dumping licenses.

I was only snorkeling down there just 3 weeks ago.

In fact I ventured out a few times into the water as there were no toilets nearby and I needed a slash.
