To say the ref was a 'homer' would be an understatement.

Well I don't like him. Nothing personal against him. I just don't like the way a very average footballer has been made into a superstar by the media simply because he married a pop star. He can't kick with his left foot, he can't head a ball, he can't tackle and he can't beat a man. What he can do and I concede he does it quite well is kick a ball. But can any team afford to carry someone in the hope of getting a free kick on the edge of the area.

 

Spot on, he played 100 games for agreed just shows how poor England have been over the last 10 years, the last 25 caps were due to the Beckham hype, the hype still going on despite the fact his ability is no longer of a premiership standard.

I'm sorry but I really do not agree with a lot on here, i hated David [ ] when he was a DMB, but supported him when playing for England, he has been a magnificent ambassador for this country for football, he has worked damned hard and deserved his caps, a lot of players in the Prem could benefit from watching him cross a ball or whip in a free kick

Aye maybe bur when he was at united he was like Terry forever moaning in the refs ear. He became an icon more for his lifestyle than his football I appreciate what he does as an ambassador of sport but I know him as a footballers and a very overpaid and overated one at that!

The way I see it is, The lads set for life money-wise. He could do whatever he likes. He could sit on a beach with midgets feeding him grapes til him and his wafer-thin wife pop it, and he'd still have money to burn.
