    Its very strange , all the buttons work but do different functions to those allocated . I.E , Play =rewind , FF = stop , record = eject , tracking = changes channels etc etc . Lost me rag with it and nearly launched it thru a window.

    Probably something as simple as dry solder joints or blown capacitors.
