Yeah fair point, The applauding the fans is a fairly recent trend. If the Players wanna join in the celebrations after a momentous win like the White Hot Stuff Im all for it. But do fans really need validation from the players ? Ya get that from ya mates down the pub or on here when youve just done , Aresnal, Crawley & Northampton away in a week. The family abuse is another level , Santos wife, Evatts kids etc severely need kerb smashing. I dont know how I would take it. First step is surely come off all social media , hopefully realise its just a few folk and then use it as a motivating tool but everyone is different. Whilst I agree , he needs regular starts to kick on . I think there is definitely a player in there and Id rather have him than Arfield but 20 min cameos and the odd cup game arent going to do him anygood. According to the other players he is the fastest and best passer at the club but we havent seen it anywhere near enough . With 40 games under his belt I reckon he will be worth his place in our Championship winning team of 25/26 !

Personally I couldnt give a fuck if the players applaud the fans. Used to be that the fans clapped the players and you just got a wave back . You dont go to the theatre and expect the cast to give you a round of applause for coming to see them . If Santos does his job and plays well like Saturday, and wants to walk straight off down the tunnel then thats up to him and anyone that sulks about it needs their nappy changing.
