March 16, 201115 yr I planned on getting my tickets on Monday night but to be turned down as they sold out because we was given a fairly shite 1500 ticket allocation, anybody got any tickets for sale?

March 16, 201115 yr Author there is a competion on this very site I'd buy the tickets and not risk disapointment from the competition, Gutted. Ive only missed 4 away matches too
March 16, 201115 yr Author Go in the Munich end, they'll be adverts on all the Salford radio stations pal. Should do adverts for Scottish radio stations, they would be more useful to the DMB's!
March 16, 201115 yr Author Is the small allocation payback for the small allocation we gave to them? Crawley's allocation: 9000 Bin Dippers allocation: also 9000 Whites allocation: 1500 Absolute terrible!
March 16, 201115 yr Author have you tried any returns at the ticket office? Rung yesterday and told me they had none.
March 16, 201115 yr If the glazers had opportunity to sell 3000 tickets at away prices guaranteeing selling them all they would do. I guess it was a buy them all option with no returns if we took the full allocation. Given the price I can understand the club taking just the 1500. I am suprised we have sold out so soon myself Edited March 16, 201115 yr by SalfordOriginal

March 16, 201115 yr The most we've had allocated in recent years is 1,900 anyway. 1,500 seems about right.
March 16, 201115 yr Author The most we've had allocated in recent years is 1,900 anyway. 1,500 seems about right. Disagree! I believe we've sold out the last few seasons at Scum, We sold out on Monday, thats 5 clear working days for people to still go and get them, could of easily sold 2500 and maybe even matched there 3000 following which they brought to th reebok.

March 16, 201115 yr What exactly are you disagreeing with me about? I said that I think the most we've been allocated recently is 1,900 and that 1,500 seems about right for our current allocation. I didn't suggest we couldn't sell more than that. I recall Newcastle fans complaining about only getting a similar amount on their last visit to Old Trafford.

Total tosh, mate Liverpool's 9,000 was a cup match Last time I went to OT (2 years ago) we didn't sell out. I reckon we had 600/700 there (still made more noise than the other 75,000 there) "matched their 3,000". It was only 3,000 because that's all we gave them (persistent standing/health & safety)

Tottenham came to our ground and we gave them the upper tier only strangely enough. Why did we do that? And they stood during the game.

Weren't they some sort of corporate seats in the upper tier that match? Let's face it, they'd sell out triple what they were given. Although, we probably could have taken a shit load this year given the chance and some decent pricing.

I think we could of took a shit load anyway irrelivant of the price, as i said before we sold out on Monday and ive seen some comments on here asking for Scum tickets. Gotta blame Bolton though for not asking for more aswell as fucking up at Tottenham, sending tickets back when we sold that match out early just like we have done for Munchen. March 16, 201115 yr So how many for each away game should we have? Or are you just pissed off cos you left it too late to sort your ticket out? EDIT: I blame the ticket office Edited March 16, 201115 yr by superjohnmcginlay
March 16, 201115 yr Author So how many for each away game should we have? Or are you just pissed off cos you left it too late to sort your ticket out? EDIT: I blame the ticket office I think we should be given what is necessary and if anybody says 1500 tickets for one of or if not our biggest rivals then you should be saying around 300 is necessary for teams in London. And I am a little bit pissed of because i was looking forward to this match all throughout the season... but... you snooze, you lose

March 17, 201115 yr our biggest rivals....you sound like a wigan fan. if we had 2000 tickets we would have had about 350 spare. changing the subject here..i believe Wigan only had a following of 60 fans when they played Spurs away recently...now that's slightly pathetic !!
March 17, 201115 yr I planned on getting my tickets on Monday night but to be turned down as they sold out because we was given a fairly shite 1500 ticket allocation, anybody got any tickets for sale? Back to the point, no one will be selling tickets on here, it isn't eBay.
March 17, 201115 yr Don't think you can buy football tickets on baby either. Concert tickets? Yes. Rugby tickets? Yes. Cricket, comedy . . . In fact, ebay sell any ticket except football. Even at over-the-odds prices. What's that all about?
March 17, 201115 yr It's an auction though, I've bought tickets for 1p before and I've sold tickets for vastly overinflated prices. That's the nature of the beast. I'm not sure what the legal technicalities are with football tickets other than it being "illegal". I don't think there's a problem with people who know one another arranging things but selling them is another case.
