Didledee Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 How's everyone's nerves? I seriously can't stop thinking about the game! I'm looking forward to it, as we all are I guess, but are we also prepared for dreaded defeat[shh!, don't say this] how long will it take to get over it, will you even feel like speaking about Bolton for sometime? as it will probably just make you feel worse. If I was Merlin, I would time-warp to about Sunday 18.30, just to get rid of all the feeling for the game, when I was watching Bolton v Boro in the Cup final, my legs seriously could not stop shaking all throughout, I couldn't enjoy the game, which wasn't helped obviously by that shite ref and players like Thome[pffft!] when I say shaking, think of shaking Stevens on crack. On a scale of 1-10 on the I'm feeling a little nervous here test, I think I'm about a 7.5, this is like a hurricane about 100 miles away, but you know it's gonna reach you[run for the underground, run for your life!]football's all about these situations and I get nervous before Prem games, but these moments don't come very often, however they are not good for your health. I'm trying to imagine the 'IMAGINE ATMOSHPHERE NERVOUS' feeling for the final, that won't be an hurricane, that will be an hybrid Godzilla -King Kong giant, radared on your position with no escape!
oggybwfc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 There is one thing Dids you could never be described as apathetic, when it comes to BWFC
jules_darby Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Where you sat Diddles? The one nature of questionning that DD appears to avoid I wonder why....
no balls Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 The one nature of questionning that DD appears to avoid I wonder why.... He's going down in the AHM's vehicle and is too embarrassed to admit it.
jules_darby Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) He's going down in the AHM's vehicle and is too embarrassed to admit it. Then he really is the new Garrp! This should probably be on the male grooming thread now Edited April 14, 2011 by jules_darby
no balls Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Then he really is the new Garrp! That was my exact thinking. Well done.
Didledee Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) It's a long story, that I'm embarrased to talk about, let's just say, tickets were bought and recieved, but someone else has my seat, I got double 100 quid for the ticket though, which on reflection isn't worth it. The reason I've avoided Casino is because I feel a little ashamed, but I wasn't going with the people I originally was. Edited April 14, 2011 by Didledee
Didledee Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 You aren't going then? Nope, which is hard to say, my dad will be back for the final, but I feel like I don't even deserve to go now.
richbwfc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Bloody hell, didnt mean to drag this up. Apologies Diddles. I'm sure there are tickets knocking around that you could snap up off people though!
Sweep Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Bloody hell, didnt mean to drag this up. Apologies Diddles. I'm sure there are tickets knocking around that you could snap up off people though! There are plenty tickets left at the club that can be snapped up
richbwfc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 There are plenty tickets left at the club that can be snapped up Nah, can't buy them from Club anymore. Think Tuesday midnight sales stopped!
Guest Biff Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Nah, can't buy them from Club anymore. Think Tuesday midnight sales stopped! I know someone who bought a ticket in the club shop yesterday.
richbwfc Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 I know someone who bought a ticket in the club shop yesterday. Fair enough I was just going off what the club said. Diddles get yourself down club shop!
athywhite1958 Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Nope, which is hard to say, my dad will be back for the final, but I feel like I don't even deserve to go now. Tell him it was the cat that pissed in your bed.
Guest Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) You're that excited you had a ticket and sold it? Edited April 14, 2011 by bwfcfan5
Matt Lofthouse Posted April 14, 2011 Posted April 14, 2011 Nope, which is hard to say, my dad will be back for the final, but I feel like I don't even deserve to go now. Dids we have a spare kids ticket for ?40 lower tier corner near the ?60 lot we cant shift, if you think you can get in for a nipper?
Didledee Posted April 14, 2011 Author Posted April 14, 2011 (edited) Yeah I'm still excited 'cos I'm still gonna watch it, just not from a seat, I only sold it because of something that happened with the family members I was going with. If anyone wants to know more, PM me, I like the lead ups to holidays, like at the airport and on the plane etc, so I guess I'll not get the excitement of travelling to London and the buzz of being with all the Bolton fans. I still get excited when I go to the Reebok each game, when I watch us on t.v/stream for away games I'm still excited. I won't be able sleep on Saturday night, I guess people will use alcohol to calm their nerves a little. Edited April 14, 2011 by Didledee
