Just been reading about that kid who got run over on the M61 (quite what he was doing on motorway I'm not sure).

 

Anyway, as usual, people are saying things like, "He was such a nice lad". and "He never had a bad word to say about anybody".

 

I have no reason to doubt these things are true...

 

But...

 

 

It just got me thinking. Those are the types of things said whenever ANYONE dies.

 

 

For example, I've yet to read about someone dying and Mr Smith, a neighbour, saying, "He was a horrible little cunt. Always up to no good."

Headteachers always label them "a joy to teach" or "well liked by staff and children alike"

 

 

We need some, "Thank fuck for that, he was a horrible cunt!"

It's near me that and I go on that stretch every day. As I drive past the sign saying "can you help" I do keep wondering what he was doing as there's a footbridge & a road one right there at the exact point he was killed. It's indeed odd.

Always a strange one when head teachers come out and say stuff like that! Out of 1500 pupils they took a special intrest in this one? Give over pupils are numbers to head teachers unless you are a little shit and then he/she would be familiar with a pupils name.

He was a quiet lad = loser, no friends.

 

She was very sociable = slag.

One of my mates, who is now dead himself, when told of the death of someone we knew, by a friend of the deceased said:-

 

"Couldn't have happened to a nicer bloke"

 

He never was the most diplomatic of people

My friend died in a house fire after coming home pissed out if his tree and lighting some scented candles to chill out and burning the house down.

 

At his funeral his mam described him as 'a lovable character but he always was a bloody idiot'.

Saying things like,he was such a nice lad may be comforting to his freinds and family as opposed to saying he was a nasty fcuker, the term 'you should never speak ill of the dead' springs to mind.

I feel sorry for the person who ran them over and all the people who witnessed it. If somone is daft enough to play on a motorway then natural selection kicks in.
