August 7, 201114 yr I'm only now beginning to realise the full extent of what a huge favour we do to these 'big boys' by having their young talent on loan and giving them the experience. Tom Cleverley looks already to be a fantastic replacement for Paul Scholes! Without the experience of Premier league first team football I doubt Utd could have afforded to experiment with him and give him the game time. Same goes for Wilshire and Sturridge. I'm pleased that Coyle tried to get Cleverley on loan last season cos I think this proves he [or his staff] can spot a player 12 months before they become class in everyone's eyes!
