Farm Shops

Featured Replies

Thinking of purchasing my christmas shopping from a farm shop, turkey veg the lot, Kenyon Hall Farm has been recommended, used to go there as a kid for strawberry picking, believe they have a shop, the xmas stuff theyve got online seem pretty decent,

anymore for anymore and do these places deliver at all throughout the year not just at xmas

Huntleys @ Samlesbury on the left just before British Aerospace.

Definatly recommend it mate.

Was in there the other Sunday. Fancied some home baked scones and spent about ?12 on various bits and bobs. They've just built a big new shop and cafe.

Proper good stuff in there. Carrots still have cowshit on em and all sorts.

Im presuming this is the one?

That's them. It was nothing but a cow shed selling ice cream a few years ago.

Not far off the M6 if you can be arsed going that far north.

Deardens.

Jacks?

Wheres that

If you're on about Partingtons Farm on the A6 at Over Hulton (junction of Newlands Drive) it's called Partingtons. Well before the roundabout.

He's a good lad is Mark, started doing sausages, bacon etc...too

You used to be able to tell when he was in the Arms 'cos it stank of cowshit and there'd be a tractor outside.

Daft as a brush like, but a good lad.

thats the one, used to buy our spuds there and the milk was as fresh as you could buy anywhere,

I may stand corrected though, I think the farm is actually called 'Deardens farm' as previously mentioned.

Soz, I was being all superior! (like that's a bloody rarity!)

That's Partingtons AKA Deardens Danny, as previously mentioned....

In fact you can probably see the scars in the kerb where I trashed my last decent bike 20 years ago.

If you look really really closely.

Really REALLY closely! :)

Used to go there as a kid, when we lived in Highfield.

Don't Partingtons now reside on the farm through the big gates on Newbrook Rd, Jackson's had the place for about 70 years then Lord Hulton's son/nephewkicked them off a few years ago, there was talk of it being made into some fancy sporting complex with a golf course. We keptour horses on there for about 10 years, I believe he now does stabling again and the place is a shithole, allegedly.
