Its 3 From 5 To Go Down

Featured Replies

The league has now taken shape and its looking any 3 from 5 for relegation we have tomorrows game in hand and a win would be a massive boost however we still have Wigan,Blackburn and Qpr to play at home and that gives us a real chance to get out of the shit were in, we have to finish 1 or 2nd in a league of 5. I am trying to remain positive and feel with a bit of the same sort of backing we gave at Blackburn there is a great chance for us to scrape out of the mess were in.

Sorry but the way we're playing at the moment I think the post should read " It's 2 From 4 To Go Down "

Oh good. Another ray of sunshine.

Oh good. Another ray of sunshine.

its true though, the performances of the last 2 games don't offer much hope

however, yet again the league table does, because the rest of them all lost

so yet again I'll be watching the Everton game hoping we get something out of it and turn it around

whatever performance we put in, it'll have to be better still to get something out the next 2/3 games - so we must improve quick

another shit performance tonight and we're in the shit more than we have been all season

COYW

It is looking like it it between ourselves, Wigan, Wolves, Blackburn & QPR.

Whilst it would be great to win tonight, I think it's critical that we don't lose. A draw would keep us within 3 points of those hovering just above the drop zone, so I would be inclined to take that now if offered. I don't see Everton doing us any favours though, so tonight will be very tough for us.

The defining point of our season will be what Coyle is allowed to spend of the reported ?7M coming in for Cahill, and who he choses to spend it on, we need to strike lucky with whoever he signs either permanently or on loan. I would expect that QPR will be out splashing some cash again so they might strike lucky as well - of all their signings in August, only Barton appears to be any good....which is great news, as folk where complaining when we didn't get SWP - fortunately he has been shitter than shit this year so far.

Anyone remember Hull a couple of seasons back? Unbelieveable start, and just stayed up on the last day.

Plenty of time for the likes of Norwich/Swansea to get pulled into it.

Possibly, but cant see it.

Swansea look like they can defend, norwich have a decent manager by the looks, cant see them both not getting to 38 (we wont get above that, need it be 38 stay up have a chance so shit 2nd halves please wolves, bburn and wigan)

I agree, sort of, but we've spunked so many points of late we have to get a win just to stay in it, what with the run of fixtures we have coming and the fact that 4 points from 9 is by far our best run of form this season

And hasn't Barton asked to leave?

no
