Best one I have been on is Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit at Universal Studios or Manta at Sea World.

 

Best in this country Pepsi Max.

Hulk at Universal Studios in Orlando, by fuck the beggining of that ride is the best buzz i've ever had.

Not a big fan either, but took my 12 yr old lad on this last May & the begining took me totaly by surprise: my cap and shades came off straight away. I was all over the place!

Did the simpsons ride and the mummy ride at Universal LA. they were ok over here Nemisis is up there as good I cant go on Air though

I was scare to go on Air and made excuses whilst queuing up that I bet I couldn't go on as my arse was too big blah blah... Anyhow, I really enjoyed it, and amazingly there was loads of room still in the seat

Air is what Manta from my original post is like but Manta is much larger and a better design.

Temple of Peril at Eurodisney was quite good, like one of the old style wooden coasters but with a loop

Black Mamba @ Phantasialand ( Bruhel ) Germany Made by the same company who did Nemesis only longer, faster and most of it underground.

Big One.

 

Would love to try the new improved version of Superman at 6 Flags in the US 415ft drop on that one.

there isnt a rollercoaster i wont ride, im a proper adrenalin junkie, i've done bunjee jumps and skydives as well. great white shark swimming in a cage is on the to do list

I enjoyed Oblivion at Alton Towers and The Big One (fnarr) at Blackpool, but the scariest/worst have to be:

 

The Grand National - Blackpool

 

Went on when I was about 14 years old and I was sat at the back. This was when the only nod to safety was a bar to hold on to - no seatbelts. It seemed a lot faster than normal and I very nearly flew out at the top. If it wasn't for my quick thinking mate grabbing me I think I'd have been a goner. Only a week later a lad was killed on the same ride.

Rickety, horrible, uncomfortable ride - by the Christ those corners were harsh. I still think I'm going to have trouble with my joints in years to come due to just one ride on that bloody thing.

Used to work at EuroDisney and we were the guinee pigs before they opened the ride they tested it on us forwards and backwards. Forward was slightly scarier as I always expected to crash into rather than go round the loop & in reverse was painful ( was'nt going to say backwards ) as you got chucked about alot especially in the corners & the suspension wasn't geared for it as It was designed to go forwards. When it opened but they changed it to backwards sometime around 2000 & its been forwards again since 2004.

 

Going back for the 20 years reunion in April, should be fun

Was a great ride. Last time I went to Alton Towers it had gone.

 

Went to blackpool and they had a Black Hole there. Queued up, got in and it was a fucking waltzer in the dark. Cunts!

I have mixed feelings about the pleasure beach, always seem to get maimed there, remember going on irn'bru ride and slipped and cracked my head, 1st time I went on big 'un and I was sick. I like rides, but I do get a little nervous when I see them up close and think 'fuck that' but a part of me doesn't want too look chicken and goes on it anyway :/

The Simpsons ride at Universal Studios in LA is good - it's oen of those 3D virtual rollercoaster thingys, but it's really good - especially if you enjoy the cartoon

when on a lads holiday there was a diving board 60ft high i looked at it and thought yeah no worries all my mates and said bollocks to it, i got all the way to the top and thought shit me i didn't think it was this high, if there werent these broads looking at me and a queue behind me i would of bottled it, i did a ron burgundy-esque cannon ball and my skin was still tingling at night, that made me scared more than any rollercoaster i have ever been on!

West Coast has to be Superman at Six Flags. Voluntary whiplash!

 

For something totally different, I enjoyed the Big Shot (Same as the Playstation or whatever its called at Pleasure Beach but on top of a building twice the height of Blackpool Tower)

Good stuff, I remember it in "reverse" and agree it was painful - it is pretty painful forwards to be fair.

Formula Rossa (2nd video) looks pretty good. I imagine it will be causing a heart attack or 2 in the near future from the speed of it.

 

Kingda Ka is notourious for rollbacks - that would make it extremely scary.
