March 6, 201214 yr To Leeds on loan for a month. Now we need someone to take Zat Knight on loan for ever
March 7, 201214 yr neil warnock has said he may be willing to take robbo on a permanent deal. sal of the earth that man never had a bad word to say about him. wonder if he would take knight as well
March 7, 201214 yr Sadly for him (and us) he was shown up this season as teams identified him as our weak link. He always gave 100% for us and if everyone in the defence put in the same effort then we'd probably be in a better position than we are now. Whilst I'm glad he's gone, I hope he does well there.
March 7, 201214 yr Sadly for him (and us) he was shown up this season as teams identified him as our weak link. we're still getting battered without him jsl
March 7, 201214 yr Maybe they're now targeting that big lumbering oaf who plays in the centre instead. Edited March 7, 201214 yr by DazBobParr
March 7, 201214 yr Maybe they're now targeting that big lumbering oaf who plays in the centre instead. maybe the weak link was the man in front of him that left him exposed all game?
March 7, 201214 yr maybe the weak link was the man in front of him that left him exposed all game? No it was Robinson who was the weak link but first half last season he was very good; just shows how form changes (same with Kevin Davies) The problem we have is that position is still weak with Ricketts having 4 awful games and as stated by others big Zat doesn't help the back 4 by being crap most of the time
March 7, 201214 yr maybe the weak link was the man in front of him that left him exposed all game? Did you go to the game at Ewood? Not a sniff of trouble down that side of the pitch whilst Alonso was playing. That all changed when Robinson came on for him. I'm not having it all being Petrov's fault. Sure, if Robinson had two men running at him all the time then I'd agree, but this season it's just been a simple case of play a ball in behind him and success was guaranteed. I don't see how Petrov is at fault for that keep happening.

I'm not having it all being Petrov's fault. of course its bot all his fault but when teams set up there were aware that Robbo would have no cover therefore would focus on that side of the rich, enhancing his flaws. for what its worth Alonso isn't the answer either.
March 7, 201214 yr if i was given time to pick passes i could play the game our midfield is so stretched the opposition can have their butties while walking around our half
March 7, 201214 yr Think he meant being rested before the final for two games so he wouldn't get the yellow that would have meant he missed the semi Aye, what you said there is what i meant. He was rested b4 stoke match then had a mare against Stoke and hasnt looked the same since. Maybe it was the Beardsley effect? Form dropped off a cliff and never came back, however.....we`re hardly water tight without him. Not sure how people pick him out as the reason for our poor results. Difficult to see much difference from where i`m standing with or without him. And if you think he was bad last season there`s fuck all point trying to have a rational conversation with you as you clearly know fuck all about football. there! i`ve said it!
March 7, 201214 yr I think blaming Petrov has just been a bit too easy and convenient for folk this season. I don't think, this season particulary, he's been as half as lazy as he's been made out to be.
March 7, 201214 yr Robinson is poor, but if he'd played every game this season we'd still be exactly where we are. No better, no worse: we're the 2nd worst team in the league and couldn't beat the worst very recently.
March 7, 201214 yr I think blaming Petrov has just been a bit too easy and convenient for folk this season. I don't think, this season particulary, he's been as half as lazy as he's been made out to be. agreed with that. he`s an inspirational kind of player, a few moments of genius here and there. problem is if you`re belting up and down the line for 90 minutes then if you do actually get a chance to do something magical you`re too bolloxed to do anything about it a study of reeves v philiskirk springs to mind one had banana boots and couldn`t hit a bulls arse with a banjo but ran his nuts off the other was a lazy fecker but scored some tremendous goals. discuss. March 7, 201214 yr one had banana boots and couldn`t hit a bulls arse with a banjo but ran his nuts off the other was a lazy fecker but scored some tremendous goals. discuss. Philliskirk all day long IMO. javelin.
March 7, 201214 yr They were dubbed the "Bros boys" or sommet like that on Kick-Off. Philliskirk had freakishly small feet for a man of his height. Size 6 or something. Reeves had (probably still has too) called Allan who played for Swindon iirc. I think that's them covered?
March 7, 201214 yr one was VERY popular but scored 2 a season the other was a `lazy cunt` who bagged 20 a season which do you prefer
