September 25, 201213 yr Author Shitty weather today, I'll give it a miss. There was one I liked the look of, but at 5/6 Iamout. I should have been going to Beverley, but I'm staying home. They reckon it's Good going at beverley (good to firm in places) and they're currently watering the track. However, there's a 70% chance of rain today, so WTF? SotD is a weak selection by our own standards too. Edited September 25, 201213 yr by Traf

September 25, 201213 yr Author They reckon it's Good going at beverley (good to firm in places) and they're currently watering the track. However, there's a 70% chance of rain today, so WTF? And now Redcar, just 60 miles North of Beverley, have already abandoned tomorrow's meeting.
September 25, 201213 yr If its any use to you now i live about 6 miles from the course (beverley) and it hasnt rained since very early morning and its blowing a gale.
September 25, 201213 yr Author Right, gays and gals, I've just had a call advising me to back Poison D'Or in the 3.30 at Folkestone. It's currently 7/1, but due to 3 non-runners, it's only a 6-horse race ie E/W only pays out on the 1st 2. Do what you like with it, but don't shoot the messenger. I've done 0.25pts win and 0.375pts E/W at 7/1 BOG.
September 25, 201213 yr Each way double for me. Swift encounter at 4.10 Bev & Apache rising 3.40 Beverly. Also had a lucky 15 but already down on two of them. My two yet to run are tax free at 11/2 in 3.10 Beverley & Next Exit at 3.20 at New. Doubt I'll win however
September 25, 201213 yr Author I've been a long-time fan of Tax Free and it was great to see him win again at York last month. I just think they might be a bit too quick for the old man today.
September 25, 201213 yr Much older that the rest running today, but he's still got it in him.. Time will tell. came 2nd Edited September 25, 201213 yr by Mr kempo

September 25, 201213 yr A worrying email arrives from betfair - unusual activity on your account leads us to conclude that it has been accessed by someone other than you, so we've suspended it. You should run a full virus scan and set up a new account, then contact us with the details so we can transfer your balance. We are not responsible for any monies which may have been lost blah blah blah is the basic jist. Haven't been able to check if the balance is how I left it yet, so fingers and toes crossed...

September 27, 201213 yr Author A quiet morning so far, but I've just taken a small E/W punt on Roxy Flyer in the 3.10 Newmarket. It probably won't win, but the 25/1 on offer at Sporting Bet is too big to ignore. This should be a 12/1-ish shot with a chance of a place, so there's some value in it, if nothing else.
September 27, 201213 yr Author Some A/W for tonight: 7.15 Wolverhampton:Grievous Angel (7/2BOG) 8.15 Wolverhampton: Maori Dancer (9/2 BOG) 8.45 Wolverhampton: Inqadh (11/4 BOG)

September 28, 201213 yr Author Early start to racing on Friday: 1st race at Stratford is at 12 noon. I'm on these already: 2.00 Haydock: Ruacana (6/1 BOG) 3.05 Haydock: Eminently (no prices available yet, so I took 7.4 on betfair) 4.35 Newmarket: Oxford Charley (14/1 E/W BOG) 5.10 Newmarket: Villa Royale (9/2 BOG)
September 28, 201213 yr Author 1.45 Newmarket: Thistle Bird (3/1 BOG) 2nd And some E/W stuff for tonight: 6.15 Wolverhampton: Elegant Muse (10/1 E/W BOG) 4th, missed a place by a nose! 7.15 Wolverhampton: Beau Duke (9/2 BOG) won at 11/2 plus an E/W double on these 2. September 28, 201213 yr Author 6.45 Wolverhampton Gold Rules I looked at that one myself this morning, but I just felt the fact that he's carrying almost a stone more than his last winning mark allied to the fact that he's never run this far meant that 3/1 or thereabouts didn't represent enough value. I went for Den Maschine in the end : the 5/1 at Hills this morning seemed long. I didn't post it up, becasue it's not a strong selection IMO.
