Hello From A Lad Around Whl.

Hi all,

Just thought I'd sign up and show my gratitude, wishes, and all that jazz to you lot.

Thoroughly hope you stay up this season, a huge contrast to the Bolton of old who I couldn't find myself liking, a lot has changed in the last few days and I will certainly stick about for some banter and to converse with you lot about the current unfortunate situation.

Steve.

If any of you would like to get a banner done with Boltons crest on one side a message for Fab in the middle and our crest on the right done, I'm thinking of doing it for the games next year. Just an idea at the moment, but the forum I use got this done for a game a few weeks ago to show support for our aitch. Say if we set up a paypal fund nearer the time, could be something nice. You have it at the reebok match we have it for the lane match.

Steve.

Absolute fair play to you lot, not only for the response in the ground but on the walk back to Northumberland Pk station - earwigging everyone on their mobiles and there was no billy big bollocks or gallows humour but genuine shock and people just wanting to talk or get info on the current state of affairs or check their kids weren't too shocked by what they'd witnessed on tv. Brilliant, genuine stuff :good:

Spurs fans showed real class on Saturday and have done ever since. Let's hope you secure that 3rd place and of we don't win the cup, I hope you lift it come May

ditto, hope you get 3rd spot.

Top spot next year. :good:

Best of luck anyway.

I have a soft spot for Tottingham, always have, but I'll never take to that illiterate fool. They come and they go, so I reckon you can.

Welcome Steve, Spurs as club from top to bottom have gone up in a lot of peoples estimations over these last few days, shows that people do really matter more than the football itself.

Best of luck for hitting 3rd spot (but you can leave the cup to us please)

Wishing Muamba a speedy recovery, and hope Bolton can take some inspiration from the horrible events over the weekend.

Come on you Lillywhites

Cheers, mate.

To be perfectly honest with you, our season has been so disappointing, we'll take inspiration from any angle we can.

For the first half / two thirds of last season we were flying with a midfield of Matt Taylor, Stuart Holden, Fabrice Muamba and Chung Yong Lee

Holden's season was abruptly ended 12 months and 2 days ago after a terrible "tackle" by United's Jonny Evans. Taylor was sold in the summer, Lee broke his leg in pre-season and still isn't playing and the world knows about Fabrice. We definitely need some help.

Holden is a great player, but it's a bit worrying how reliant you became on him in such a short space of time (hasn't he only played about 30 games for you?)

I reckon you'll stay up, if nothing else because QPR look awful at the moment. I think it's Wigan who you need to be careful of. Good luck.
