Half Full At The Final Whistle

I'm sorry

Why, the Fucking Fuck, would anyone need to leave that match early today?

What possible reason or excuse is there?

The team huddle, the win, the fact that an afternoon like this will never happen again is surely worth the extra 5 minutes in traffic.

You sour, heartless, miserable cunts. You deserve to watch us in another division.

Unbefuckingleivable.

If it matters getting fans into the stadium to back the team, then it matters that the team can see (out of the corner of their eye) fans streaming out when they're pushing for a winning goal / equaliser / or holding on for a win in the last 10 minutes.

Or ...... what the fans do or don't do has no impact.

It can't work both ways.

we left with 3 mins left cause today we were bus wankers and was not sure of the number to get how hot are thay on the top deck :drinks:

You stayed 10 minutes longer than usual then. Well done pal. ;)

I was one of those twats who left early, had to be in work for half 5

*shrugs* dont see what its got to do with anyone else tbh

even I stayed and applauded them off the pitch

As did I

I must admit to going down early for a pint at half time though

Ricketts was interviewed after the game and said normally you are focussed on the game so the crowd does not affect you, however yesterday he said they did make a difference.

I would guess a much higher % than normal were there at final whistle than normal yet people still feel the need to have a go at other people I still do not get it.

IF I see my seat int first half I usually go for a pint with 15 minutes left of the first half.

I then usually leave with 5 or more minutes left to get in Scotts first or get ont first train.

Been doing that 10 years, the beers are often more a priority than the football. Shit fan? Bovvered!

Yesterday I stayed til the end. Not many games I do but was a bigger priority than a pint.

Thing is Stevie, there's always some nob head at Scott's who'll get everyone's ale in!

I pay for my season ticket every season, I'm sometimes in my seat for kick off, I'm usually down at half time before the whislte, I usually go downstairs before the end to have a fag and watch the last few minutes on the telly in the concourse. Why not moan at those who watch the game in pubs in Bolton, or folk from Bolton who support other teams? 100 mile round trip for me, I'll do what I want!

To be honest, I think the opening rant was more about doing it with no sense of occasion rather than doing it every game. as you say, you pays yer money you takes your choice.

Fair enough Micky, I just get irked about being told how a 'proper' fan is suposed to behave at a game. OK Saturday was different so I was in my seat 15 minuntes before kick off, but I did slope downstairs for a fag with 5 minutes to go to be honest. You know what? I left Wembley early too, and if we are 2 down at Wolves next week with 5 to go I'll probably fuck off early then as well. That extra half hour on the car park is an inconvenience if you live in, say, Farnworth, its a twat if you live further afield. I go to virtually every home game, the only one I've missed is the Macc replay (although I went to the League Cup game on a Tuesay night), I buy my ST and I will do what the fuck I want.
