Apologies if this has been covered elsewhere recently, but I couldn't find it.

 

Just been reading that Swindon (current family club of the year) are about to sign Luke McCormick following his release from prison. He's the guy that killed 2 kids while speeding & being over the drink-drive limit & put their dad in a wheelchair.

 

Personally I'd be gutted if Bolton signed him. People do make mistakes & I dare say that he relives that moment every day & will carry it round his neck for ther rest of his life. Some people might also say he's served his time (7yrs 4m) & has to earn a living & football is what he knows.

 

I'll tell you what though, if he'd killed my kids I'd at least expect the f*cker to keep his profile down & have some respect for the family he's left behind even if he has to accept earning a "normal" person's wage. I'd also be paying someone to have him put in a wheelchair.

Well he left the pissup at 2, and the crash happened at 5.45 an hour's drive down the M6, so you'd be pushing it to define that as the morning after, which is probably why people rang asking him to stop.

Friend of a friend went on holiday with his ex girlfriend. Apparently she reckons he wasn't over the limit. Its just media bullshit.

Don't know if he was done for causing death by reckless driving or for drink driving.... anyone know?
