always very sad to see one of our own pass on, great innings though....on the bright side Farnworth's very own Sir Tommy Banks celebrated his 83rd birthday this week, still fit as a fiddle walks his dog every day around Crommy lodges, and at the moment over here in Yankeeland getting some sun on his back whist supping supersize glasses of Bud......absolute TOP MAN

Got the book signed first week it came out, a fine read, great first time effort by Ian Seddon, all today's prima donnas should be kissing this great mans arse for what he did for them.....still hates the red shite, proper local lad !

He did the HT draw a few weeks ago, RV introduced him as the author of Banks' autobiography.

Which raised a smile, in a childish way.

Ian Seddon best remembered for the winner against Sheffield Utd when Nat was manager and he played all the kids, absolute screemer from 30 yards into The Lever End......also helped carry Nat's coffin, still a massive Bolton fan, was in Munich and Madrid with all the fans, works up at the Reebok on match days in the Peter Nicho role....
