December 13, 201213 yr Went TC this afternoon, only to take my mother not buy anything, 5 minutes and really wanted to get out again. I've had a constant stream of deliveries from online shopping this week, all done by the kids!

December 14, 201213 yr I'm nearly out of the closet. Ebay and other online stuff has been a godsend this year. I'll enjoy getting and preparing the food more I think! It's my birthday tomorrow (today?) and I think I'm the only one who couldn't give a monkey's, the kids are well excited (to coin a phrase in very poor English) but why not? I'd be quite happy with a bottle of malt and a few war films. There IS one thing but I'm not likely to get it. Still, in my experience when you realise your dreams they can be quite a disappointment in the long term when you consider the expense and impracticality. Who's ever called me practical?
December 14, 201213 yr I didn't like to say as it's not likely this year due to budgetary (if that's a real word) restraints (I know restraints is) but one of these: my fave is in a rather restrained gentlemanly dark blue like this, not for me these acid deluded hues of red and yellow....... Sorry about the huge image, but it really DOES have to be an alloy one, preferably a 1967 like me....
December 14, 201213 yr I've now finished work til 7th January so will be out doing all my gift shopping today and Monday if I don't get it all. Argos, John Lewis and independent retailers are the places that will be taking money off me. The TC is not even considered for shopping.
