What I'm saying is, once people decide they don't like a player, they focus on any little error that player makes, exaggerate it and ignore anything else that they do that's decent. Same goes in reverse.

Nowt wrong with the way this partnership is doing at the moment. Can't understand the clamour to crowbar Wheater when it's not broken. Also, let's not alienatate another one of our main defenders when Dawson looks unlikely to be here next season, especially if the rumblings out of the Hawthorns are to be believed.

Fair point but I for one would credit knight if it were merited, he looks better with Dawson, but for his experience he should be leading Dawson not t'other round. Bit I agree they look okay so far. Edited by tomski

from the BN :-

Dawson, for his part, is keeping his head down and enjoying his time at the Reebok. “There is great team spirit and everyone gets on together,” the defender said. “I think that is shown on the pitch. “I have just got to keep playing my football and preparing for each game as it comes. At the moment it’s just a loan. “I have just got to keep concentrating on my football and playing well.”

"At the moment". Hmmm.

Spazmong, reading between the lines in a hopeful manner.

The way I see it Dougie can't say we wanna sign him for anything. I think its a smoke screen. I think Steve Clarke referred to him as 4th choice centre back at the moment rather than its to develop his game etc which suggests he's not a firm favourite down there.

"aye, we'll take him off your hands as he'll do for now to get us promoted, how about 3 and 6 plus a bag of balls?"

Lets see? If things carry on Dawson will want to stay here rather than WBA's bench he's even suggested at the moment referring to daz bobs post.

I assume they'll want to keep him though, as both McAuley and Olsson are getting on a bit (33 and 30?) I'm not sure who their other centre back is mind

Dawson's doing OK at the moment, lets see how the 3 month thing works out. I still remember Warhurst tearing up trees whilst he was on loan, once signed he had much less of an impact.

2 wins this week will do nicely then go from there.

Warhurst did well enough for us.

It's all guess work as no one knows what his plans are at WBA, but Dougie saying its a loan only doesn't mean its a no goer for me.

West brom supporting mate (s/t holder just to make his point more valid) tells me that its the form of those two which has stopped Dawson getting a look in there. Seems WBA see him as one for the future and he's out on loan to get some matches in
