Wigan get crowds of around 18000 in the premier league but this is a lot of away support and people in the area wanting to see premier league football at a low cost. When Wigan finally get flushed out of the division their support will drop to around 5000 or even less - they are a non league club

As for Wembley they will take around 30000 because its new to the town but most of them wont actually be football supporters and wont even know what the game is all about

We have tradition and have been brought up with the game in our blood; we are different completely than Wigan and always will be. Let them enjoy their day or more than likely their day in the cup final as well because sooner rather than later they will end up like Wimbledon who are a non league club

Most Wigan people are well used to going to Wembley, being egg-chasers. Given the emnity between Wigan rugby and Wigan football fans, I can't see the town turning out. I'd say they'll take 15-17000 at the most.

This whole exercise could very easily flush them out for the lightweights they really are.
