I got my bag of programs and then set about finding somewhere to sell them. I walked up to near Orlando Bridge and no sooner had I stood still, ready to start selling, some big, old cunt grabbed hold of me and told me to fuck off as this was his turf.

 

I ended up near the Cattlemarket and sold two.

 

Never did it again.

Egg packing for a few months in 76 when I got back from Newquay, never known a duller job with even duller people to talk to, it nearly drove me insane,going to the canteen was so fucking boring with inane talk. I ended up going for a pint in my dinner hour in the Railway pub.
