Youri McAnespie
Why are increasing numbers of online newspapers and other sites incorporating these... If I want to watch telly (or an approximation of telly) I'll watch f*cking telly. And that talking pop-up on the BN website is really getting on my tits now, I was rudely interrupted by Winalot-Chops Redknapp loudly drawling about something 'triffic or other, t'other day - Cunt. Do people really prefer these (been around for ages but increasing in number of late) 'innovations' over reading?
bwfc87
The one on the BN site is right fucker when your laptop's on full volume and you don't realise, nearly fell off the toilet once.

gonzo
Firefox>Adblocker Plus>Right click it and select block. Never see (or hear) it again. Does that work for certain 'other' sites too bazzler?
Site Supporter barryk32 Posted August 13, 2013 Site Supporter Share Posted August 13, 2013 (edited) Everything. When I look at other folks pc's I'm always flabbergasted by how many adverts there are knocking about. Youri McAnespie
I've got adblocker on Firefox... I've not excepted the BN website or The Guardian, The Independent and a few others - they still pop up and start. To be fair they've started putting a warning under the links... this link will start a video will start automatically.

Youri McAnespie
I'll try again - I might have added an exception one time when I was 'in drink'.
