Maybe it cost nothing to buy De Veres in financial trouble and glad to get shut, Heathcotes now doing the food and a decentish pint of real ale on tap so it's all right by me.

I'm pretty sure the club always owned the hotel, deveres just had the contract to run the joint

I heard DeVeres owned the hotel but as part of the deal it became BWFC's property after so many years. I heard the Fiji Rugby World Cup Squad are based there for the next four weeks and Uncle Phil was there to greet them when they arrived

How long is it going to take to drop the De Vere name from the hotel website and publicity. It was announced at the beginning of August but the De Vere name is still on the online booking.

Think you have to ring them now to book. Only changed very recently.
