Hotel Help...

Looking for a decent, but not ridiculously overpriced hotel for a few days relatively close to Thorpe Park / Chessington World of Adventures ( I know, I know!) towards the end of the month.

All useful/helpful suggestions welcomed.

Maybe find summat suitable on that  https://www.airbnb.co.uk/ site ?

I was really after more of a personal recommendation, rather than a booking site.

I've stayed at Savill Court Hotel about a year ago, it's probably about 10 miles away from Thorpe Park I think  -  I paid £99 for Bed and Breakfast I think, but you might get it cheaper via the usual sites

we needed one in croydon and nearest we could get was maidstone!

The gorilla at Chessington were rehoused in 2010.

Their old gaff may be available at prices to suit.

Hilton at Cobham, £75 a night, inc breakfast & wifi.

Not too far to drive to any of the theme parks and 4 miles from mainline train station to go into London for the Eye etc.

I hope so.

The reverse - their area was deemed to be too small for their numbers.

Typically favouring primates from another country, instead of helping our own, home-grown erm, primates, like the grey squirrel.
