Training Puppies

Anyone done it?

Stupidly we've acquired three, currently around 1o weeks old.

Driving me bonkers, house training OK, but with plenty of mishaps.

They've loads of energy but can't go out yet (second jab tomorrow)

Any tips?

Had them out for the first time a little while ago (one at a time). Went pretty well really, unfortunately, my neighbours dog also came out and had a bit of a go at one. Knew it would happen at some stage so best to get it over with.

Might be as well to "Dog Proof" your garden in case they try to get out.

Well, well, well.

Walking the three chaps earlier, and as usually everyone wants to say hello and fuss them etc.

One woman, out with hers comments that the are real pulling magnets, and as I'd already explained to her how I'd come to get three, she says she likes me even more getting the third! :)

I knew that having a dog makes a good way of getting chatting to folk, but are puppies the new pubs/clubs etc?

Hilarious really, why bother with online/speed dating etc- just get a young dog and mooch about!

it only lasts whilst they are small/puppies, was beating them off with a shitty poo bag for the first 6 months

after that you just have to make small talk with other dog owners whilst yours runs around with theirs for 10 minutes on the field

"this should tire him out"

"yeah, hopefully he'll sleep tonight"

...

"how old is yours"

"1"

"yours?"

"4"
