June 23, 20197 yr It was a living nightmare when we lived at the tramway pub. That along with the seagulls and the noise downstairs was fuckin horrendous. Now live in a dead end where the only things that pass are dog walkers and horse riders. Can hear a pin drop 🙌🏻
June 23, 20197 yr I've lived on a main road and i did miss the noise for a while when i first moved from there. I now live at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, no one walks past and no one can drive past. I'd rather live where i live now, i like a bit of peace and quiet in my old age.
June 23, 20197 yr I used to live back-to-back with a busy main road and could tell where about’s the HGV was on the road with the loose grids rattling and potholes. I also now live in a cul de sac and the only noise I get is the cattle about a mile away. I’m getting used to this now 🙂

June 23, 20197 yr I lived on 2 busy main roads when I was a kid. TMR (we had a shop) and to a lesser extent Belmont Rd. It never bother me one bit. Maybe because I was a kid. Now I have a massive house in the country with a moat around it.
