September 12, 20196 yr Folk who say they don't sting you for no reason are talking bollocks. They are little thugs.
September 12, 20196 yr It's bees that don't sting without reason. They know that stinging is a last resort and will result in their death. Wasps, on the other hand are happy to sting and, because of the lack of barb, sting again. I fondly recall, and still laugh, driving back from a fire along Nelson Street when the Sub Officer at the side of me suddenly started break dancing in his seat. A wasp had flown through the window and inside his t-shirt. It stung him so he jumped and thrust his back into the seat. This merely pissed the wasp off a touch so it stung him again. Repeat the jump and thrust a further six times. Once back at the station he removed his shirt and there were eight red circles each about an inch from the previous one in a line down his back.

Unfortunately, I think many bees are twatted as they tend to be mis-indentified as wasps.
